Connection to Community

My last post was about connecting to “Universal Consciousness” – which is God in all his/her various forms.  God is everything that is, including you.  That makes us connected to everything in the universe.  We supposedly are built in God’s image but what does that mean?  Does it mean that God actually looks like man?  No, God can take any form.  What it does mean is that man has the potential to develop his mind and become more Godlike, but in what ways?  How would the “Universal Mind” want us to develop?  Mankind has thought that power, money, beauty, things, and youth are the most important traits to develop.  This has brought us to the world we have today, where material things are equated with happiness.  But, material things do not last and the happiness they bring is an illusion.

Where is our compassion, love and sense of community as a whole.  Everyone wants his own children and society to succeed and have a happy life but we must learn to care about everyone’s children and all other sentient beings if we are to save our world.  Right now it can be said that man has really not been a good caretaker of this wonderful world of ours.  We need to develop a world sense of community that sees us connect to everyone and everything because we really are one.  I have heard people say that the only way our world would work as a unit was if aliens invaded us.  Do we really have to wait for that to happen?  We started out needing our fight or flight response to survive but now we need to develop our sense of community and compassion.  Religion often seems to separate us instead of what it was designed to do – show compassion and caring for each other and bring people together.

Our problems can no longer be solved through warfare, if they ever could.  We must learn to share with each other so the whole world can prosper.  Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, Vishnu and many other entities knew and taught us this.  They allowed their minds to be developed along the lines of Universal Consciousness, which is what God expects from beings built in his image.  This is who he is as a creator, designer and communicator of the universal and he expects us to become closer to him and to help him implement his plan.  We need to be in harmony with each other to do this.  Is it so difficult that we set aside our differences and take notice of our similarities and help each other to succeed?  Humanity needs to take a different tack if it is to succeed, otherwise we, made in God’s image, will go the way of the dinosaur.  This is not what “Universal Consciousness” wants and our energy will not be lost no matter what but what a shame if we are just part of that consciousness and not a physical part of God’s Universe.

Extremists on all sides must give up their egoic need to be right and work to make this world better.  Jews must learn to get along with Palestinians and give them what they need and deserve and Palestinians must accept the right of Israel to exist.  Extremist Christians must stop persecuting Muslims who must in turn stop calling the west the great Satan.  However, the west must also become less hedonistic and many Muslim societies might have to become less austere and treat women better.  Greater humanism is required by everyone and we must start tapping in to “Universal Consciousness” by developing everyone’s power to do so.  If we work as one, we can bring our world into a new renaissance of human development.

Connecting Needs to be Practiced

It has been awhile since I last had a post and this has been to my detriment.  The connection between the self and “Universal Consciousness” must be used and maintained if it is to remain viable.  That inner voice which I have talked about, which is connected to all energy – God – needs to resonate within our own being in order to strengthen its connection with the universal.  Practice can and will make this connection stronger but lack of use atrophies the connection and strengthens the egos hold over desire.  If I give the job of  handling desire to my inner self, which is connected to Universal Consciousness I realize that most of my egoic desires are irrelevant.  Without keeping that connection strong however, the ego will take over, wanting instant gratification and working constantly towards that goal.  It is a choice we make.  Do we let the ego rule the roost and forget about our connection to anything else or do we open strong lines of communication with “Universal Consciousness” and discover our real purpose.

The connection is real.  To quote a paragraph by Bruce Lipton PhD. from his article in the http://www.noetic.org/noetic/issue-7-february/spontaneous-evolution-new-scientific-realities-are/ – “Spontaneous Evolution: New Scientific Realities Are Bringing Spirit Back Into Matter,” -

“The beliefs we have been living by are wrong. Fractal mathematics says: There is a pattern in the world, and there is a pattern to your evolution. Quantum physics says: Don’t focus on the material, focus on the immaterial realm. Energy is primal. The rule is that if a science on the lower part of the building changes its belief system, every science above that building block must incorporate it. Biology and psychology have not adopted the new understandings of mathematics and physics; they are out of scientific context and no longer scientific. Quantum biology, however, a new science, examines how energy affects biology, and consciousness is that energy. As for psychology, a material psychology based on chemistry and drugs needs to be replaced by energy psychology. We heal ourselves with our thoughts, our mind, our consciousness, which are more powerful than chemistry. It’s the invisible, immaterial realm that’s powerful”.

Humans have a brain that acts instinctually to preserve the species and satisfy its needs, a worthy purpose but one that has become a bit archaic. This brain is innate and is able to add to its repertoire through experience in satisfying these needs.  This is the lower brain, the one which the ego affects most often.  There is also a higher brain that thinks more consciously about things.  The ego can also have an effect on this brain which can have negative or positive repercussions.   Mankind must learn to use his inner voice, that connection to the universal, which can be developed through choice and practice, to help make purposeful decisions, if we are to truly evolve in a spiritual manner.  Tapping into the energy of our cosmic connection will ultimately give us the knowledge that we need to understand our desires and satisfy our needs.

Ego desires come easily as they are the human base point.  Connection requires commitment to its use and practice of spiritual tenets on a daily basis.  The important decisions in life require thought and meditation.  Some people pray on such decisions and prayer can definitely help one connect to the universal but whatever your method of connection, the important thing is to connect and keep these lines of communication open.  As stated previously, tuning into your energy resonance will help you connect with other beings and things in your own realm as well as the universal.  As you become more aware of tuning into other frequencies you will learn what you, others and things bring to overall universal consciousness.  As more humans begin to tune in a new evolution of mankind will begin.
